GameChains were developed to help reduce the loss of Nintendo® DS game cartridges by combining them on a chain similar to a key chain. Several custom laser-cut tabs were developed and packaged with color-coded ball-chains, and semi-permanent adhesive material letting kids carry a few games on the device itself without need for a case or container. The release of the Nintendo® DSi with internet download capability made the continuation of this project questionable. Website and web-based sales ceased soon after.
